My Digital Space: Tech, Leadership, Data, Digital Transformation, and Everything In Between

#Tech, #Leadership, #Data, # Digital Transformation, #Local Governance

Hey, thanks for dropping by.

This is actually my first blog post on this website. If you’ve followed me before on Facebook, YouTube, or LinkedIn, you probably already know a bit about what I do. But if this is your first time here—welcome. This platform is something I’ve been planning to build for a while now. It’s finally live.

How It All Started

It all began with the Tech Tribe Podcast—“Where we build a tribe of tech leaders.” That was my way of starting conversations about tech, leadership, and digital transformation. I launched it on YouTube and Facebook, just to get the message out. From there, I started sharing more on LinkedIn—my experiences in government ICT, digital projects, leadership lessons, and everything in between.

I’ve also been teaching part-time in two academic institutions. So aside from public service, I also get to contribute in the classroom, which honestly keeps me grounded and sharp.

Why I’m Writing This Blog

To be real with you, this blog is more than just a blog. It’s my portfolio, my platform, and my Plan B.

Working in government, especially in a leadership role like mine, comes with uncertainty. After the next elections, I don’t know if I’ll still be the ICT Division Head. That’s just the reality. So instead of waiting to see what happens, I’ve decided to take control of my own journey.

That’s why I’ve been diving into SQL and data analytics. It’s something I’ve always wanted to learn, and now I’m going all in. I want to become a Local Government Digital Transformation Consultant—someone who can help other LGUs make smarter decisions using tech and data. And this blog is where I’ll share everything I’m learning along the way.

What You’ll Find Here

I plan to write about:

  • My data analytics journey and learning SQL from scratch
  • Stories from the Tech Tribe Podcast
  • Digital transformation projects and real talk about what works (and what doesn’t)
  • Leadership lessons from my work in LGU ICT
  • My experiences as a lecturer
  • Personal wins, struggles, milestones, and what’s next

I want this space to reflect who I am and what I do. Not just titles or roles, but the skills, values, and vision I bring to the table.

Looking Ahead

If things go well after the elections, and I’m trusted again with this role—I’ll keep pushing forward from within the LGU. But if not, I’m not starting from scratch. I’ve got this platform. I’ve got this blog. And I’ve got the drive to keep moving—whether that means consulting, teaching, or even starting something of my own.

This is just the beginning.

Thanks again for being here. If you’re into local government tech, digital transformation, data analytics, or just want to follow along with the ups and downs of this journey—stick around. Let’s build something meaningful.
